Women’s coaching

We enable women leaders to access their authentic self to ensure they thrive, succeed and advance into more senior roles.

Our approach

Women’s coaching is about developing leadership excellence and personal fulfilment through balancing an inner path of transformation and an outer path of success and performance.

Our women’s coaching programme works dynamically with our model of the heroine’s journey, which enables women to reconnect with aspects of themselves that historically have not been valued within traditional, masculine models of leadership. We support women to invoke and align all of who they are into their leadership approach – their mental, emotional and physical selves to increase fulfillment and organisational impact.

The approach draws on WDI’s heritage and experience of performance coaching. Our coaches have extensive experience and apply a range of business and psychological techniques to meet the client’s unique needs.

Our women’s coaching work is:

  • Systemic, engaging our client’s different forms of intelligence

  • Provocative, supportive and challenging

  • Reflective, intuitive, and pragmatic

  • Thought-provoking, creative and solutions-focused.

Our clients ask us to get involved when they are:

  • Wondering how to return to work successfully, for instance after maternity leave

  • Aware that how they lead, are performing or their likely progress has been discussed in terms of their gender

  • Preparing to step into more senior positions and developing their leadership approach in new environments, e.g. global positions

  • Managing change initiatives and leading through potential conflict or uncertainty while remaining authentic and resilient

  • Drawn to the holistic, balanced and creative approach as it touches what is important to them personally.

I was a cynic regarding the benefits of coaching. I was wrong. I have come out of this experience a calmer, more relaxed, less fiery leader. I’d recommend Lynn and her team to anyone needing wisdom, insight and the personal tools to do a brilliant job.

Patricia Blatherwick, Director of Strategy and Business Development, MAXIMUS UK

Lynn has been my coach for 18 months and the value she has added to me professionally and personally is vast.  Her ability to truly understand me has contributed greatly to the success in her being my coach.  Lynn questions and challenges me in ways that I truly value and she isn’t afraid to take me out of my comfort zone. Our work together has greatly improved my ability as a senior HR leader and head of a function and her wide experience has helped me enormously with managing stakeholder relationships. I cannot recommend Lynn highly enough.
